Time As A Teacher and The Wisdom of Patience

“You’re experiencing a grand cross in a mutable sign” she said.

Ok…I thought. I am not so well versed with western astrology. So, at the time, I really didn’t understand too much of what she was saying. But I had been having quite a hard time in my life. She continued to explain.

“It’s like an epic crossroads. Kind of like when 4 memebers of the UN are all holding their cards close in waiting to see what the other person has”…

Yup..I got it. A massive crossroads. One aspect connected to the other three. All four dependent on the other. That made a lot of sense, and I was feeling it.

She went on to talk about these aspects and how the factor of time would certainly change this outcome, along with a few other things.

Time.

In Sanskrit the term for time is Kala. And while Kala has many meanings, the representation of Kala as time can also be numerous. There is time of day, time of life, time of season. I learned during the height of the pandemic that time was a portal, a place that had little meaning-a blur. At times, it felt timeless

. But time does do what time can do and left as a component of the healing process, time will make an impact.

The aging process represents a living testament to time. The winkles and folds, the rounding and shifting. All of it feels like we are just time capsules wrapped in a layer of skin as a living embodiment to our life and our experiences, our gene-pool and our history.
